If anyone still needs a portable camping toilet for campsites like this: We're selling ours cheaply on May 26, 2026, around noon at the campervan return in Perth. It's only been used for 4 weeks and hardly at all! Contact us via WhatsApp at +49 175 2018281. ...
A few spots are accessible by 2WD but you have to be extremely careful when the sand is dry. Lots of seaweed in the water, so not good for swimming. Unfortunately the toilets were out of order but we had to pay anyway (a lady came to collect it in the morning). Quite expensive for not having any facilities. It was very windy as well. On a calm and sunny day, it would probably be much nicer but our experience was not so great.
Great place, quiet, and great view!
Not free any longer as of Easter 2021. A bit rich compared to other camp sites around. It really is such a nice place to stay. 2wd vehicles be careful or you could easily get bogged in the sand but there are places to camp for 2wd. Take a walk first. Gents clean enough so presume ladies would be the same
Only one spot, very sandy. Only accessible with 4WD
We took the right on the t-junction and got stuck in the sand, it was really boggy. Thankfully some fishermen who camped nearby, saw us and pulled us out. We ended up camping where we were under a tree, great views though. Would only recommend if your car can so sand.
Turned left at the T junction - fantastic camp site just a few metres from the beach. Spotless drop toilets and plenty of space. Three night maximum and ranger visits daily to enforce.
Right side at T junction, limited shade but hide under cliffs away from winds, close to beach, ranger visits daily to record your number plates as only allowed 3 nights in IRWIN Shire in any 28 days. Limited facilities, shade tables central and three drop toilets, No BBQ & NO FIRES 1st Oct to End April.
Turned right at T-junction and found many great spots by the water. 2WD accessible. No wind, beautiful view of stars and sunset. FREE camping. Toilets were very clean.
