Accessability ok for 2 WD even though it was raining.

They say it’s suitable for any car, it’s not true. When we arrived the road was flooded and we could not go, also the road is more a dirty road than an unsealed one, clearly it’s for 4WD.

Campsites at Eagle Bluff, Fowlers Camp, Whalebone Bay & Goulet Bluff lie within the area commonly known as South Peron which is now designated as a Class A National Park. Bookings for dates after 1 January 2025 are now available via DBCA's ParkStay online booking system. From 1 January 2025 onwards, bookings will no longer be available via the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery & Visitor Centre. Please visit parkstay.dbca.wa.gov.au to book your campsite.

Loved this spot! Absolutely stunning sunset and worth waking up for sunrise too. Quiet and peaceful. Easy to get the permit from the town centre and didn’t see a ranger either. Road isn’t in the best condition but we managed driving carefully and slowly in 2wd. No facilities but not a problem for a 1 night stay- plenty of public showers and toilets in Denham.

Great spot to sleep. Magnificent sunset, room for several campers, accessible by CC. The place is calm, beautiful. You must book the same day at the Discovery center in Denham by telephone (AUS $15).

Easily accessible by 2WD. You need to book by visiting the visitor centre in Denham or calling them. Do it early if it’s during a busy period. Matt the ranger is a legend stick, grab him for a chat and he’ll tell you all the good places!

This place is simply beautiful! There is lots of space, the sunsets are just amazing, the water is cristal clear and we even saw dolphins! You can walk out into the water pretty far, as it is not deep at all. Great beach for hanging out during the day too and perfect for camping, we loved it. No facilities, so please take your rubbish, toilet paper as well! You have to book your spot at the visitor Center in Denham, via email (including credit card details) or phone (only Telstra) You can only book your spot for the same day and can only stay for one night, so you have to switch between the four different campgrounds if you want to stay for a couple of days. We stayed for 6 nights and switching back and forth to the different sites was no problem at all

Windy during the night. $ per night for a car (you need to book and pay at the discovery & visitor centre or to call them during their opening hours but they are open only between 10am and 2pm during the week-end otherwise 9am-4.30pm) No rangers between 6pm and 6am.

Beautiful spot (just like the three other permit required spots), amazing sunset, amazing sunrise! A few spots right at the waters edge (be careful with the tides though!). 2WD accessible, but make sure to check for loose sand before you drive into your spot! No facilities, so make sure to take all your rubbish (including toilet paper!) with you. The Ranger comes in every morning to check permits (and have a chat) so make sure you register at the discovery center in Denham or by calling between their opening hours.

Great spot. Easily accessible in motor home. A bit corrugated but only 2km from highway. Book site at Denham Visitor’s Centre. Ranger checks in morning. Only two other vehicles with us. Nice and quiet.
