Avoid this place!! During the night, someone smashed our car window and stole valuable belongings. Apparently, this is not the first time this has happened.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed overall. The surroundings felt unsafe and uninviting. Our campervan was parked in a remote, very run-down area, while other guests had better pitches. The sanitary facilities are very outdated. At night, it was also very noisy due to the nearby port with its ships and trucks. However, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which was a very positive aspect.
Pleasant staff. Grassed area for unpowered campers. Hot showers.Recommend
Don't use the dryers, you're wasting your money! $5 for not drying anything, great, I'll leave with my wet clothes...
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The park itself is getting old and the infrastructure needs to be renewed. A freight train drives past the park. On our last night we unfortunately had problems with a few teenagers who behaved completely inappropriately and even banged and shook our camper during the night. Absolutely avoid this park, especially on weekends and holidays.
Very friendly ladies at reception. We immediately felt welcome. The facility is getting old. Toilet and shower facilities are very old and need to be renovated. It's clean. Otherwise the campsite is ok. I haven't heard anything about the trains or the trucks.
A truly perfect campsite, organized, extremely clean, well maintained, with all the comforts and even a swimming pool and games for children. The only flaw: in the 2 days I was there the wifi only worked for a few hours and the 4G signal did not reach the pitch. I don't know if it was a coincidence or if it's a constant problem.
We stayed here initially for a week but extended to two weeks because we loved the location back in November and December 2021. We paid an extra for an ensuite site so don’t know what the facilities are like other than the laundry’s which are fine, they’re laundries with clotheslines outside. The pool was great and the camp kitchen is basic but it has a microwave, bbq’s and a sink with a plug, which is quite rare I’ve found. It also has kettle, toaster and tv. We stayed again at the end January for two nights and once again stayed on an ensuite site and also extended by one night. The staff are lovely and helpful. Im not sure about the comments of being jammed, we had heaps of room both times we stayed.
Spent one night there, Paid for 2adults 1 car 1 tent unpowered site. Fairly clean toilettes and nice hot showers. Close to town centre and next to the beach. Friendly woman at the reception. Overall good.
This park isn't that bad ,as long as you have a spot at the rear of park. Good clean amenities.
