A moderate size caravan park in Beacon, WA with good facilities. Dirt/gravel base with no shade. Facilities include flushing toilets and showers, power, potable water, laundry and camp kitchen. Good Telstra reception but no Optus or TV. Suited as a multi-night stay. Quiet and peaceful and close to town. Reasonable general store in town. Call shire offices to book site and pay. Honesty system for payment after hours.
The initial description is inaccurate and should be addressed. As the previous comment said, quiet, out of town but close enough to walk in. Clean and well prepped facilities including cabins etc but.... No pool, no courts, no big screen etc that may be either the park of the same name in Victoria or including the facilities ( impressive) at the local leisure centre. This park is located through town by the railway tracks, there is no park on Hamilton Rd.
Great site, close to town centre, with shop and pub. Had a nice meal in the club which serves food Thursday night through to Sunday lunch. The men’s shed there has renovated some vintage tractors and you can see them by appointment or when the shed is open. A quiet camp site with great showers and an outside kitchen. Powered or non powered available. We loved it here. Lots of things to see around the area.
