15km of dirt road leads to the actual Dunn Rock in Cape Le Grand National Park. The last 5km are only suitable for 4WD, quite bumpy and sandy. The rangers at the fee point to the park said that it wasn't a problem to get there as the ground was hard, but after one attempt we ended up turning with our 2WD. From a distance the view is beautiful, but from up close it's probably fantastic. Too bad.
