We booked an unpowered site so we were all at the end of the camping, the amenities were very far from the unpowered campsites, there was not enough washing machines compared to the number of people staying there, a lot of out of order machines, the dryers smell terrible. When it’s windy it’s awful, with dry grass and sand. The air is more wet and cold where we were than near the amenities, The swimming pool is nice though.
4 star 😀 Large park, level gravel sites a few with grass, facilities are clean and modern. Just on the out skirts of town, very quiet and safe place. 10 minute drive into Broome. All the usual facilities in the park and the tour operators collect you at the front door. 😀
A wonderful place. The vibe is perfect, the staff are friendly, the pool is simply fantastic, and the restrooms are very well maintained. We extended our stays several times and felt very comfortable.
Large Caravan Park that can actually cater for its size! Has all the basics, a large pool, you certainly don't have a crowded in kind of feeling.
Very accommodating staff who are very busy. I needed documents printed. No problem and no charge. Lovely pool and large powered sites. Note check in is after 12pm. Need to queue if you arrive before that.
Our final destination after doing the Gibb River Road was Broome. We are a group of 7 adults, 1 baby and 5 dogs in 4 cars. We called twice before starting our trip to make our reservation and explained our situation. We spoke with Sandy, who was really nice and she confirmed they would give us 2 sites as they were quite big and we could be together (still paying the price per person, which was ok for us). What a surprise when we got to the reception to do the check in and we found the rude 2 women. They just told us everything we couldn't do in their caravan park and that we couldn't occupy 2 sites with our 4 cars (booking that they actually offered weeks before on the phone). The morning after, at 6:30 am, one of the women that was at the reception, came to our sites to tell 1 person of our group that our cars couldn't be where we parked them as they needed the back space to make overflow sites. We asked a few questions such where are the site boundaries, why they don't put different site signs, etc which she refused to answer, saying that she didn't have to explain any of that to us and if we didn't like the rules of her caravan park we knew were the gate was. When we all went to talk to her and understand the situation, she said she wouldn't talk to the whole group as we had "group mentality" and we were a gang giving her bad looks. She was rude and without a point. After the confrontation, she said we could stay were we were parked and minutes after came back and started putting overflow signs in our spots, sent someone to paint lines, etc. One car of our group left a couple of days earlier and she decided to put someone in that space, even though we paid for it and there were plenty of spaces in the caravan park. It is a shame that this place is run by people with no customer service skills at all as the park has a lot to offer.
Close for the entire wet season. It is a shame for not having an opportunity to stay there.
Very helpful staff, beautiful swimming pool and very clean amenities. Would definitely recommend! Kitchen is closed until the end of this year due to covid.
Best campsite we have stayed in on the whole west coast, not only was it a great price but the owner specifically cleaned the pool for us to use. Literally within a hour we got in the pool was a great temperature and couldn't fault anything! mosquitoes are obviously a issue in north WA in the wet season anyway so that's expected. Nice to have street lamps along by every other camp section! kangaroos and wallabys on the campsite was also a massive bonus!
The staff was very friendly and gave us good advices to visit Broome. The camping was very quiet as it’s was the low season and we enjoyed the pretty swimming pool which was spotless !( 0 leafs or anything inside). The amenities were clean as well, lot of showers with a bench and hooks for your stuff and clean toilets. Paper and soap as well with the sink.On top there is a laundry (4$ per load) which is very handy ! I highly recommend this camp ground.(you can see kangaroos during the night eating the grass as well ?).K?
