4WD mandatory. Gorgeous beach. The campsite is in the dunes so little wind. On the other hand, a lot of fly on waking. Price $15 per car.

Wow, we lead with the 4wd for the first time and then a trail like that. It fit and was rewarded with a great view. You can stay for 24 hours. The toilet was very clean. Cold water from a reservoir

Also an excellent spot for snorkeling, in suitable conditions, a partially protected area by an offshore reef .

New favourite camp site. 4WD access only but there is an alternate route for 4WDs with campers. Sunsets to die for, and pristine beach with amazing views. Hut is in great condition, and campfires were allowed even in Dec. Also recommend 4WD track out to Broke Inlet called Fisherman's Track. About an hour each way, (will probably scratch your car with the bush), but the views and beach at the end is amazing. Be sure to air down before you go as it can be boggy sand, otherwise not too difficult track.
