Amazing view after around 1.5 hike for us who are not hikers. Worth to climb it. We made it on January 2026.
A 4.7 km sloping hiking trail through jarrah/marri/karri forest to a platform and skywalk hanging from a huge grante rock (Castle Rock) both with magnificent views. Drop toilets, bins and covered seating available in the car park, no facilites on the trail. The trail is continuously sloping but not particularly challenging. Access to the granite skywalk is via a short rock scramble and 6m vertical ladder which might be challenging for those with vertigo.
Nice walk, not that hard, the first part is a steady walk and the little climb in the end was the most fun. We did it in 1.5 hrs.
Fantastic but be aware the sign says 2.2km return it means 2.2km each way and it's up a very steep hill. But oh so worth it.
Worth it! Can’t believe a view like this exists. The last part to ‘scramble’ is definitely worth doing. A bit terrifying with the wind to get up that 7m ladder but glad that put that cage so it feels a bit safer
