There is a sign that says no stays/overnight stays. 500m above there is on the right site of the highway a place wheres no sign. For one night okey, but could be loud from the traffic. Telstra is okey but not good.
Sign saying No camping. There was another rest stop 500m on the otherside of the road which we stayed at which didnt have any signs. Ok for a night. Next to road so traffic noise exist
Apparently it's a place to stay overnight again, at least we didn't see any signs otherwise. In the end we didn't stay there because there was only one other dark car parked besides us and that was a bit too scary for us :D But the place itself made a very good, spacious impression. You can certainly spend a very good night there with a self-catering camper.
Does not seem to allow camping anymore. Pulled in and there are ‘no camping’ signs
Nice rest area, enough space for a few vehicles, just a bit noisy. There also is a gravel pit on the other side of the side road and a little rest area one minute north.
We couldn’t tell where it could be fenced in (previous comment), so decided to stay and it was no problem. It can be kinda noisy since it’s at the side of the road, but you also get kookaburras and 28s cheeping in the morning to enjoy. Absolutely fine for a free night’s sleep.
