Cool place to wander round, my children enjoyed the children’s corner! So much to see!
Too much of the gardens was closed for improvements, nice cafe/toilets building but gardens were a let down
Lovely place to wander around even in winter. After brunch at the cafe overlooking the park we spent a very pleasant hour here. The spring valley section is particularly beautiful right now with flowering magnolias, cherry trees and masses of daffodils and jonquils. Four long parking spaces for campers and we were the only one!
Close.
It's a nice and sweet garden but now in fall and with the construction going on not worth a detour or stop in my opinion. Nice to stretch out your legs maybe. Wifi (1GB) is good :D
Great botanical garden. Certain sections were under construction, but there was still a considerable amount to see. The children's garden is well thought out and very interactive. Definitely feels more like a botanical garden than the one in Wellington.
Come for the flowers, stay for the toilets. Incredible experience!
Nice place for a break after long hours of driving! Also good for kids to walk around and play some games in the children's corner of the visitors center. The garden itself is nice even in early spring. And all this for free, except for the coffee in the cafe which was of excellent quality!
Nice garden
Lovely garden even in early spring. Close to the airport. Lots of native plants and trees. It's free, you can have a bite with some coffees. Toilet is clean.
