Came for a pickleball tournament that didn’t end until 2am and it just so happened that you can also campervan here. The dumping site was blocked off but other than that it was great. Just a big parking lot.
I don’t really understand for you are paying for. 15NZD for parking spot same quality as lot of freedom camping. I stayed there only cause it was on the way I was going and with toilets nearby. For 15NZD I would imagine have a chance of shower. But the shower is not available anymore.
Ideal for one or two nights near Auckland. There's plenty of parking in the park and a large sports hall next door. The indoor restrooms are nice. There are also good restrooms and a dunnage station outside. It's very quiet after 9 pm. You should pay online for the night, which costs only NZD 15. Great, large sports facilities with plenty of grass. Very good cell phone reception, but no Wi-Fi.
It is a nice park, with security at night and a good dump station. The price is $15 per night, it has a public restroom (not so hygienic) and its shower is not available. But the rest is fine. It is advisable to arrive before 5pm to buy the voucher that you must place on your windshield.
Very spacious parking area with lots of green around. We paid $15 online (https://www.sporty.co.nz/brucepulmanpark/CONTACT/Motorhome-Booking-Form) and went to the gymnastics reception before 5pm to pick up our registration slip. Not sure if you have to pick that up but no one asked proof of payment in the evening. The gate closes at 9pm so you just have to arrive before then. The bathrooms are ok, but there’s a reason you’re self-contained, right?
Good place to stop. Good dump station. Security on site at night. $10 per vehicle
Super disappointed. The positive points: emptying station, simple operation (you book and pay 10nzd online then you go to reception to collect your sticker). Negative point: the toilets were very very very dirty (first time I have seen toilets in such a state in NZ)
A great stop close to Auckland. This is a car park for a busy sports centre. Having said that when everyone has gone home and the gates are locked it is very quiet. There is nighttime security so felt safe. You must get a yellow widow card from reception for your windscreen to confirm you have paid the nominal charge. There is also water, toilets and a dump station accessible even if you are not staying.
One of the few places to stay “close” to Auckland. It is a parking, unpowered, no WiFi, but under surveillance. As we booked online, a security guard came to check and we were asleep. He told us that we should have printed the booking to avoid being awaken.
10$ for vehicle. Easy payment (Visa/Master) via webpage. You can use WC inside sport hall when its open. Secure place.
