The road to get there is currently closed. Only for residents

Easy to find after a bit of rough road beyond the sealed section with clear signage at a rare intersection on the road. Typical beech forest walk with lots of roots and rocks. Mostly a steady climb but with a couple of steeper sections. A bit overgrown and had to cast about 4 or 5 times in the 80%-95%-up zone for next track marker. Should improve now Keneperu Road is re-opened and more people get access. Reasonably fit and up in 1.50 hours, down in 1.20 hours.

1 10 to get up up. Some area to explore on top to get views from all angles. Absolutely stunning. Steep and rocky, fun trail but pay attention to not lose an ankle. Sunset would be amazing but be careful to follow arrows on way down if you do it, could lose track in some parts in dark. Highly recommend

Road to get here is narrow and windy, past kenepuru unsealed. Allow extra time. Track is through bushline, well marked and easy to follow. Uneven, steep and narrow, with rocks and roots in places. Good shoes and appropriate fitness level required. 1,5h up, 1h down without breaks, I recommend 4-5 hours for whole hike. One of the best views in New Zealand! On good weather you can see whole sounds area and watch ships in Picton. 100% worth the sweat :)

Very nice hike, it goes up strong and all the time to the top! Lots of wind above but the view is worth it. Put on good walking shoes

Great track through the forest! It does get steep and is longer so bring a decent level of fitness. Very wet and slippery when we went up so good shoes will help avoid wet feet. The summit is around 1200m I believe

Super track! Climb a little but really hard in 1:30 at the top with a beautiful view of the sounds. I highly recommend!

You will drive 1 1/2 to the track , start in the morning

Just follow the road and you'll see the sign to the track at a t-junction.
