If you have seen the film then definitely go. Even if you haven't the collection of vintage bikes and other cool bits is worth a nosy. The shop is also good, had what we were looking for (screwdrivers and insoles)

Awesome hardware shop. Old bikes and cars throughout actual shop. We got there right on closing time and they understandably kicked us out, but still got to see the bike and a few other things. Well done to preserve that part of history. Very cool to see. Much smaller than i thought the bike would be.

It is a mandatory stop for the motorcycle signed by this name. You can even try the cokpit of the Burt Munro motorbike ... Grand.

Free. Very cool idea to showcase epic history in a hardware store. Not to be missed if in Invercargill.

What a surprise walking into the hardware store. The old bikes and cars are simply beautiful. All well kept, information sheets on each and no problems with taking photos. Entry is free but please put a donation into the boss around the store to support the upkeep of the displays.

Many displays in a functioning department type store. Cars , many bikes, old machinery and photo displays. And of course a complete Bert Munro coverage.

This was a really cool stop. It's worth the 20 minutes to pop in and check it out.
