Lugar agradable, cuando sólo tienes que parar por la noche. los baños estaban bien y había bancos con cubiertas (encantador, porque llueve)
Bueno para una parada en el camino a Hanmer Springs. Baños limpios con luces, pero también popular entre los camioneros que se detienen cada unos minutos y luego reinician el motor. Inicialmente nos quedamos en la calle en el Campo de la Libertad y nos mudamos poco antes de la medianoche debido al ruido. Sólo había otro vehículo allí para acampar, por lo que no parece ser muy ocupado incluso en la temporada alta.
Estuvimos una noche y no sé si no está tan ocupado en el minuto, pero no oímos ningún ruido de camión o coche! Sólo 2 espacios pero el lugar estaba vacío y la otra camioneta aparcó algunos espacios abajo no en el espacio designado y estaba bien. baños limpios y buenas mesas y bancos / parque. estábamos en no auto contenidos! recomendaría :))
Worst post for the noise! Busy road near with trunk stopping all night
Nice place to stay for one night on the way. A lot of traffic passing by tho. Has a fish and chips shop and 4 square in the town.
It's a good place for stay one night. The main road is near but I didn't listen the cars on the road. Only one truck arrived early in the night but it was fine, not to much noise.
Its a truck stop, all night big trucks manoeuvre around close to the freedom parking, very dangerous. Im a kiwi and disappointed with this place
Amazing. We are the only car here tonight, plenty of space. Toilets are clean and the soap smells good, the park is lovely. Thank you Culverden!
Great place to stand freely. Large children's playground, dump station, drinking water and clean toilets. The two existing pitches for campers are quite uneven but are great conditions to stand free for one night. When we arrived (~7 p.m.) there was only one large truck there. No problem.
Nice little spot. There is space for two vans, and also space for two on the street side of the park. Toilets are clean. There’s a dump station, and potable water. Very little noise from the road about 50m away. One surprise was all the trucks turning up around 7pm. This seems to be an overnight stop for truckies. There’s two signposts saying ‘camper vans here, limit 2’, then all other space was taken by 5 b-double trucks. They were really quiet, and not a problem at all.
