We stayed there for the night and I even think we would have liked to stay much longer! The hosts are so welcoming and lovely!!! and you can sit wherever you want. It's free, but in exchange, don't hesitate to go have a beer and a bite to eat because it's delicious!

Un pequeño, honesto pequeño comedor en el medio de la nada. :) Tuvimos una gran cena y podíamos pasar la noche en nuestra furgoneta en sus plazas de aparcamiento.

La gente muy agradable sólo tuvo que tomar una bebida y podían aparcar gratis durante la noche, tenían wifi gratuito y un baño que estaba cerrado toda la noche.

Sólo hazlo. Incluso conducir millas extra para ello. Auténticas, originales y simplemente increíbles personas. Buena comida y grandes cervezas.

Excelente lugar para alojarse si estás cerca. Los propietarios son fantásticos. La comida, especialmente la hamburguesa, está golpeando y las opciones vegetarianas también están disponibles. Los baños de lavado están limpios y abiertos toda la noche. La señal es muy buena también.

Realmente gente amable que dirige esta taverna! Llegamos bastante tarde pero se ofrecieron a cocinarnos la cena a pesar de que su cocina estaba técnicamente cerrada. ¡Tan amable! Mucho espacio, hamburguesas increíbles, y un baño público muy bien mantenido a lo largo de la carretera que usamos para cepillarse los dientes, etc. No hay duchas cerca, pero estábamos allí menos de 12 horas por lo que no importaba.

10/10 recommend!! It is free, you just have to have food or drink! The owners are lovely and they have baby goats and pigs that are very friendly!!

This is a must for anyone travelling through Waiau. I implore you to support these lovely people who have been through some incredibly hard times recently. We stayed and had a great meal, lovely chats, and even met some little baby goats. Very clean flush toilets, and no sandflies!! Considering the absolute wringer the bar owners have been through (and continue to go through), they are cheerful, generous people who deserve support from campers on the road. Well worth a stop for the night!
