GRANDE area di campeggio con erba a livello liscio. Può ottenere boggy dopo la pioggia pesante, ma c'è terreno fermo prima della zona erbosa. Abbiamo trascorso 2 lotti di 3 notti qui, e al massimo c'erano 10 altri soggiorni. Non dimenticare di prenotare online prima di arrivare, non c'è segnale telefonico.

Great field with sinks and toilets in the middle of nowhere.

Chiuso per l'inverno! Chiuso ieri, prenotato in, nulla sul sito, dopo aver attraversato quel piccolo ponte e le porte intorpidite bloccate! Chiamato DOC, dopo aver connesso Starlink come nessun segnale telefonico qui, avevano fatto un errore consentendo le prenotazioni, è ufficialmente chiuso per l'inverno, (consigliato NZMCA). Il ponte! Oy vey! Siamo 14 metri in totale, sfiorato e mi ha preso tre tentativi haha! Possibile tuttavia, quando è aperto!! Area molto piccola da girare se le porte sono bloccate, quindi controllare prima! E 'molto bello. Ma un po 'di confusione. Sul sito doc tutto va bene. Di fronte al campeggio c'è un segno che dice che è chiuso a causa del furto. Ma al di fuori di questo tutto sembra essere ok. Non c'è assolutamente nessun segnale. Abbiamo prenotato prima di arrivare lì. È tutta erba così con pesante corsa i pneumatici non avranno una buona aderenza.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
