Lower lookout is currently closed for maintenance, looks like they are building steps. But when we went on a Sunday no builders where there so we could walk through to them he lookout. Great view.

The lower lookout is better then the high lookout. They are near each other. 1 minute but the lower has a better view without high bushes and some benches.

Follow the mountain bike trail sign and park there. Then follow the yellow track to the top, good view of the geyser for free (saving 35$ fee if you go to the tourist park...) !

We parked just past the treewalk redwoods and followed the yellow trail from the back of the car park. About 45 minutes to ride and a wonderful view of the park te puia. A bit further a view of the forest that we do not particularly recommend but it is nearby so why not.

Path of one hour in this forest with multiple tree species. The view of the upper lookout is almost nonexistent on the city. The difference in altitude is not the best in flip flops

Route totally wrong. We have to pay to get into the Maori center and then go to the point of view

Do not follow this navigation but drive straight to Reed Wood and park at the far end of the road and follow the yellow signs! Take a look at Lookouts!
