This town is weird. Really dodgy. Just bad vibes as soon as I arrived and then turned around straight after arriving at this camp site. I’m a female solo traveler so gotta be more safe and no one else was there just one random normal car that didn’t look like someone camping in it.

Woken up at 2 AM by a car with its music blasting; the guy was drunk. Lots of noise because of the deer nearby. However, it's a very pretty spot, though the toilets smell really bad.

Very nice place, next to the river, clean long drop toilets. Everything seems nice and pretty, and we didnt want follow other commens opinions but. People are actually strange here. Cars driven by quite questionable individuals pass by, they slow down to check you out (like they are looking for something) and then drive away again and this happens very, very often, like every 15-30 minutes.

Yer harika, tuvaletler var, ağı ve sen nehir kenarında. biz sadece köpeklerini yürümeye gelen birkaç aile ve insanlarla tanıştık. biz yolun öbür tarafındaki yılan hariç gece hiç rahatsız değildi ama buna alışırsınız. 😊

Özünde iyi bir seçenek, ücretsiz ve merkezi konumda. ancak, karanlık önce geri sürdü çünkü çok garip karakterler otopark etrafında dolaşıyordu. yer çok güvenli olmalı, ama biz çok güvenli hissettik ve tekrar sürdü.

Plajda güzel bir manzara, ancak yer yer yerliler için daha köpek parkı. köpek sh** için çimenli alanda dikkatli olun. tuvalet tüm gece kullanılabilir.

Güneş batışı ile güzel bir yer. Bir tuvalet var, ama tuvalet kağıdı boştu. Ne yazık ki, gençler orada arabalarla dolaştı, yüksek sesli hoparlörlerde müzik dinledi ve alkol içti. Yakında hiçbir zaman ayrılmayacak gibi görünüyordu ve herhangi bir sorun istemedik, Savaş Anıtı'nda siteye taşındık, gerçekten utanç verici!

Güzel bir yer, Bir temiz kokulu uzun düşme! Çim üzerinde otopark şimdi bir yüzme havuzu ama yolun kenarında bir yer bulmak başardı. Ayrıca kesinlikle bir çocuk yarışçı çevresinde döndü, ama onlar ortadan kayboldu 10pm bu yüzden iyiydi.

Pretty decent spot right on the beach. We arrived late on a Tuesday after all of the other sites were closed/empty on the way up from Napier. There were 2 other campers, and a few people stopped in the evening to use the toilets but didn’t bother us, even turned off highbeams! Long drop toilets are fairly clean, although bring toilet paper as I didn’t see any. Only problem was nearby cows moo-ing ALL NIGHT LONG. It must be mating season!
