Awesome spot, quiet (aside from the roosters), not too busy, decent bathrooms (long drop, a little smelly and some flies), drinking water. The farm animals are cute and you can even go and pet them! Very idyllic with tons of birds and chickens roaming around.

An idyllic campsite away from Auckland’s traffic noise and the hustle and bustle of the city. 15 minutes from the dump station, petrol station and LPG bottles refill and campervan drop-off. Close to the airport.

Environment is nice with the large campground and wild lives. Roosters wake you up in the mid-night so better prepare earplug. There’s two long drop female toilet with lots of flies and smell.

Solo female - was my first night in van so super scary but i really liked it here it had 2 gates one with a padlock so i felt safe and it had a peaceful vibe being on a farm. I preferred the bathrooms closer to the entrance of the farm, only a short walk, this bathroom also had 1 hot shower (get there early) as campsite ones are cold. Easy to find in daytime (not sure about night) Good experience overall.

If you like animals you should stop here for a night. Very nice and charming farm with free running little birds and chicken. Be warned though, if you are a light sleeper, the roosters will probably wake you very early. The restrooms and shower are old but usable.
