It was great. There were very few people and a real sense of being in nature! Dry toilets, but generally clean.

Beautiful spot! We were on our way back from milford sound and stopped in here to stay for the night. Theres not much around so bring your own food and such. There are drop toilets which we didnt use. You do have to book in advance which you can do last minute and it huge so it cant fill up and you can park wherever. Its $18 per person and we didnt deal with anyone, just paid online on the way, slept and left but sunset was beautiful.

Stayed here January 4th 2024 and it was lovely and quiet. Drop toilets fine. Beautiful views!

Nice quiet campground with reception, 3 toilets and heaps of space. $15 p.p. per night

Great and large campground. 3 drop toilets and lots of parking spaces. The only downside: be ready to be attacked by sandflies, they have no mercy. One more thing: don’t keep your campervan open for too long. We found a new neighbour in our van (small mouse), had to take all the stuff out to get rid of it. So far it’s more clever, found a good place to hide. So now Jerry is travelling with us… try to keep your doors closed at all times.

Beautiful spot but mice got in our camper and woke me up by tickling my back 🧐, come prepped with peppermint oil or something. The remaining hours till sunrise while it was raining outside I reconsidered my life as I was possibly under siege
