I disagree with the last comment. I‘ve found it beautiful and very peaceful up there. Mountain views on one side & overlooking the ocean on the other side. I would recommend to visit!
Nothing special. Just a view, nothing else to see. Many bushes with thorns, which you can not avoid.
Such a great and sometimes exhausting track. The mountain seems to consist of many rocks. The way is so varied and exciting. The only annoying thing was the yellow spiky weed emigrating from Australia - I believe - over a long distance, unavoidable. Therefore long trousers recommended. The hut with the cow I find macabre. Has nothing to look for in the beautiful landscape.
Small friendly ballad with a great view of the two national parks around us and farewell spit, top if the weather is clear
We stayed here for 10 minutes and did the "cow walkway". The whole comments made me curious and I had to look at it myself once. The crumbled cottage has been seen directly from the path. Very interesting. I thought it was more disgusting than it is. Looks more like a stone cow.
Lovely views from the top and the bushwalk is pretty steep and slippery but fun. The dead cow in the shed is nothing for easily terrified people though. It has only bones and leather left!
Wonderful 2 hours walkway with a beautiful viewpoint of Golden Bay, Abel Tasman and Nelson region. The big part of the walk is a single track in forest, bushes, stones and hills. Somewhere to go !
Nice hike on the rocky road to the top of the hill, but you could already see the view while driving. The hut of the 'mummified' cow was collapsed, but you coud still see the cow itself (but to our opinion it was more a broken plastic thing)
We did not have time to go up to the top because of the time Little part of the way, without going upstairs its nice but not exceptional! We went to see the cow (hut right after the start of the road!) Is it a real cow (it looks like it!) How is this possible?
