Wir kamen an einem Mittwochnachmittag an und waren die einzigen dort. Sehr ruhig, eine Bar der Rezeption mit Spark, nur für die nackten Essentials nutzbar. Toiletten funktional, aber schmutzig. Allerdings gab es eine saubere und kostenlose (!) heiße Dusche mit einem privaten Cube. Fantastisch und tausend Pluspunkte. Müllkästen waren verfügbar. Keine weirdos oder Crackheads.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. The toilets were alright and it was quiet but looked a bit rough. As soon as we opened the door it absolutely stunk! Not sure if it was the toilets or what? But really bad smell. Wouldn’t want any windows or doors open. Then saw the review about noise across the river and always worry about weekends. Ended up leaving and going to Little Waipa which was huge clean and beautiful.

I came on a Thursday night and it was fine. A ute came.around midnight and parked next to me with the engine on. When i looked throught the window, they moved a bit further and switched off the engine and the lights. With all the comments on other freecamps, I didn't feel so safe but the spot is great with hot shower ! So I would still recommend it. Just lock your van while you sleep.

A stunning spot, with hot shower and a clean toilet. Quite a bit of space, only 3 other campers when we were there. Unfortunately there were some hoons at Bulmers Landing on the other side of the lake playing loud music and doing burn outs to 4.30am. It could easily have been our campground they chose though. I dont think this is a high priority for the police, however it might help if the council put in some speed bumps? We stayed on a Friday night. Might be worse Friday and Saturday?

Beautiful location. A few other campers. We sent a very peaceful and enjoyable night here.

Ein schöner Ort, aber ein beliebter Hängen für Jugendliche. Ich blieb an einem Freitagabend. Laute Musik bis spät, streiten, und eine 2am klopfte an meiner Tür, die ich nicht öffnete. Ein Auto lief aus dem Treibstoff. Dann getrennt, ein Kerl mit Schleifschneider kam um 5.30 Uhr, um zu versuchen, die Dusche Batterie zu stehlen. Meine schlimmste Camper-Erfahrung je. Die Aussicht ist malerisch. Es war glücklich, bis die Dunkelheit fiel.

Schöner Ort am Fluss. Ein paar LKWs dort und Hunde und Kinder glücklich im See spielen. Aber die Leute waren respektvoll und keine Musik oder Lärm. Anständige grundlegende Loos und gute Duschen cubicles. großartiger Ort. Keine Macht.

Liebte diesen Ort! beschäftigt und eindeutig ein Ort, an dem die Einheimischen am Wochenende lieben, aber wir mochten die Energie, die dies brachte. heiße Duschen und Toiletten.

Wir blieben hier vor ein paar Wochen und genossen unseren Aufenthalt. saubere Toiletten und sogar eine kostenlose heiße Sonnendusche. Es gab ein paar Familien, die möglicherweise dauerhafte Bewohner waren, aber sie waren ruhig und respektvoll. Keine Telefonrezeption hier und ein wenig von der Hauptstraße so nicht sicher, dass ich hier angenehm gewesen wäre, wenn mein Partner nicht bei mir war.
