Had some fun racing ghost crabs. A gentle pointbreak that wraps around the south eastern end, good for beginner surfers. Bigger swell down the beach. A good spot to see some dolphins.
Lovey beach popular with day trippers. Limited car parking available. I stayed in the caravan park opposite so it’s was just a short walk for me to the beach. Wet sand was firm to walk on. Water was lonely and clear and lots of people were playing in the small waves. One end of the beach when the tide is out you can access the head land that is an island at high tide. Lovey views from here and with the national park as back drop behind the beach it’s just amazing. And views of the head lands towards Smiths lake. Lots of ospreys and kites catching the sea breeze.
Beautiful big white sand beach. Dramatic waves, fun to play in. We saw dolphins swimming just a few metres off shore when we were here. Very scenic area.
