This was probably the prettiest of several lighthouses I visited along the NSW coast, very glad I took the detour.
Short drive on narrow sealed road takes you to the car park. Walk on another short section of sealed road (only accessed by guests and workers of the cottage accommodation) through lovely trees. Before you start the short climb to the light house there is wonderful views of the ocean and a hole in the rocks where the ocean pushes through. Can be very windy so hold onto your hat! If you take a pram leave it near the cottages and carry little ones up to the base of the light house. You can climb the steps to access a platform of the lighthouse below the lamp itself. I have been to many lighthouses and I have to say this one is in the prettiest location of all. Opens at sun up closes at sun set.
Such a shame went with a group of disabled kids last year no problem.NPWS opened gates to allow access for all. Was fantastic. Contacted parks to allow access again for different group of disabled children this year to no avail. It is the simple things that make a difference for all.

Amazing views, well with it
Great little place to visit. Can’t climb up the lighthouse or go inside but the views from the base are lovely. 10 minute walk from the car park is worth it. Toilet on the way.
Super point of view, we even had the chance to see dolphins!
Very beautiful view ! We could see several dolphin bands!
Nice walk to beautiful lighthouse
