Stayed for 2 nights $25/N. The living dessert park is $7/pp. It’s a nice campsite with showers and toilets. The only down side was too many ants on the sites and we were bitten all over our feet.
Have to book through Broken Hill Info centre. Nice quiet camp-site. Clean amenities. We stayed 4 nights so we could explore Broken Hill and Silverton. Would stay again. 🙂
Paid for 2 adults entry to the Living Deserts and the campground. Visited amd of July, most of campsites were booked. Only 2 combined toilets/showers, can take a long wait time with the amount of people staying here. Additional portable toilet was set down. Bbq area was clean, the lights only lasted 5min in the evening. Camper sites lined with gravel. The tent area is sand, but no vehicle access.
Awesome campsite, need to book online. Close to watching sunset at sculpture park in evening. BBQs and clean facilities available. Even had star gazing chairs and we saw a kangaroo
Great camping zone ! Really nice facilities, toilet and shower and BBQ. In Perfect location under the stars. Wish we had stayed here longer. Only fault is entry was really confusing! No intructions or access code sent in confirmation & receipt email, instead seperate email that went to junk mail had access code digits. No reception on this site either.
Great place to stay, see the sculptures and then the sunset. Booking system is now on line. Note that you will get two emails. The gate code is in one and your receipt the other. This was confusing everyone when we arrived and if it's after 5.00pm there is no one to ring for advise.
Perfect place in the middle of the desert! Assigned a spot, and use a keypad entry system. Powerful, hot showers and facilities are all new. BBQ area too. Sculpture park is fantastic. We booked the same day over the phone and met the ranger on her rounds in the evening. Wild kangaroos hopping around. $10pp, and $6pp for park entry which was well worth it!
