This has to be our favourite free camp spot. Smack on a clean flowing creek and with picnic tables and fire pits, 2 drop toilet for both genders and plenty of level ground. Talbingo is 3ksaway with dump point, fresh water,convenience shop and petrol station. Great location for a nice dip in the creek. Tumut is roughly a 30 minute drive for your woollies shop if required. National parks booking fee of $6.00 for a week stay. Can't go wrong.

If you have a caravan I would suggest leaving caravan at bitumen road and walking the 350 netres down to campground to see if your car can handle the steep gravel section and to make sure no other caravan is coming from opposite direction as it could be quite interesting trying to get past each other on the narrow gravel track. Campground itself is beautifully grassed area beside babbling brook.

This is a very peaceful campsite. Away from the busy snow highway. Plenty of fire pits and rings. Toilets River is also nearby Bring firewood!

Drop toilet. Nice quiet spots going back along creek for a few Km. Talbingo minutes away. Access all vehicles.
