A unique site. Quite magical when conditions are right. We came between Christmas and new year . Busy but the place is so big there are many options to camp. Get in early fir showers.
Perfect place. This was my first time camping and had so much fun with my family. Highly recommended.
Plenty of spots to set up camp, fire pits located through out, went off peak mid week was quite can imagine Holiday times you would have to get in early. Lots of wild life and great swimming hole. Has well maintained amenities so the cost is justified.
Awesome place! One of the few remaining that you can have a campfire. It is quite expensive as far as campsites go but has excellent facilities in the main block. Secondary facilities are rather dated. If the place is full - it gets very crowded at Easter and Christmas expect a wait on showers as there is just not enough for the place when full. It is a huge place, you can almost always get a secluded spot but the seclusion obviously comes at a distance from the amenities. There is a small store with necessities but not a lot of stuff overall. No generators, no motorbikes. No powered sites but there are power outlets for charging stuff in the camp kitchen and amenities although no mobile service so you won't need to charge your phone ?
Over priced!
Fantastic spot, we stopped overnight early February a couple of years ago, cost $90 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers for 1 night, but pricy I thought but great swimming hole, plenty of wildlife. Fire pits, lots of open space as well as more secluded areas to camp
