Not recommended without 4WD. Very long gravel road with a river crossing just before the camp.
Beautiful campground with plenty of sites along the river. Be mindful if you’re considering bringing a 2wd, there is a water crossing on each way in to the grounds. During the wet, the roads can be quite slippery and you may not make it. Make sure to check the tides before you come in. There is little to no reception once you’re on the dirt road. Other than that, enjoy and make sure to leave the grounds better than you found them!
Love the camp ground owners are great, have to take your own wood to burn
Amazing campground
Just great campsite. 10 aud per person, hot shower, compost toilet. Kangaroos at dawn. You need to cross a river to get to the campground after driving 12km of dirt road . You can do it in the morning or the afternoon. At midday the tide is too high. It totally worth it.
