Big sites, even with an RV. Clean pool. Jumping pillow, lovely playground. Mini golf site and tennis court. Short walk to the beach which is currently a bit too rough to swim but gorgeous for a stroll...

Omg What an awesome park. Spacious clean heaps of shade and a easy boardwalk to a stunning beach.

Really nice staff, free wifi, clean amenities and a pool that is both suitable for children and adults. It is just a short walk to the beach. Overall a nice stay!

Camping sites are spacious and clean, amenities spotless, pool very tempting and the staff very friendly. There's free Wi-Fi in the park, reception sells coffee and ice cream and Wairo beach is 5min walk away. Great place and we'll be back:)

$ 35 2 people with power and van means the kitchen and bathroom are too far away, dilapidated and poorly maintained. The kitchen corner and creepy. No hob, no product available to clean old bbq. There is still a new fridge and freezer. Surprise, no cleaning on Sunday, including the pool. Internet only in the games room. The staff is friendly.

The positives: 1) the ladies at reception, very friendly and welcoming. Even when they tell you about the snake at cabin 40. 2) the powered sites by the kitchens are large and you have plenty of room. 3) the price for a van with 2 people, powered is $35. 4) really close to a beautiful beach. The negatives: 1) the camp kitchen. There are two bbq's that either need a new cooking plate or replaced. There is no cooktop but a couple of small kitchen appliances around the sink. Taking into account it is mostly outdoors, it's dirty. The tops of the kettles had a layer of grime, the area around the BBQ's was covered in sawdust and grease and there was animal poop all over the counter. There is no garbage in the kitchen. 2) the bathrooms by the kitchen have two stalls for toilets and two showers. Not sure if we were there after some mass rush but it wasn't clean. There were food wrappers in the shower stall in ladies and the garbage was overflowing. Also a random green bucket filled with water in between the toilets. The amenities are old and are also showing wear. So, would I stay again... Only as a fully self contained unit with my own cooker and amenities.

Great Campground, 25$ powered 2ppl! Clean facilities and bbq for free. Got some local surf knowledge from the ownerabout the region which was very helpful
