At sea, a little distance from the road, the bathroom is not closed, good
Location is gorgeous, with very interesting mangrove areas near the campground to explore. Grassy sites with plenty of trees and birdlife. However I was a little disappointed by the price ($55 for powered) since to my understanding you also need to pay x2 days national park entry ($24) to stay overnight. For that price I found the open-air amenities a bit off-putting with bugs in abundance. Had mobile coverage. Road in from Sydney direction is very winding but mostly well maintained.
Absolutely stunning site, sunset beach views and lots of wildlife. All a bit spoiled by the site I booked (69) a powered one - clearly not working so I paid for power but got none and have had no response to my emails about the issue either! Good showers but entry and exit code a bit of a mare as didn't always seem to work and the bar wasn't up for long enough to get back in the van and drive through. Lots of people seemed to have issues with the code! Perhaps there was a power issue on site on?
The special terrain of this place is perfect for enjoying the calm beach. Especially if you have children, it would be great to play with them in shallow sea water. The downside is that it takes a winding, concentrated and patient drive to get to the campsite. When leaving, you must take the same route. It felt like I was taking driving training.
Alright
Toller Campingplatz mit Badestelle in schöner Umgebung mitten im Grünen. Um uns herum schwirrten viele Vögel. Leider waren wir nur einen Tag im Nationalpark. Hier kann man länger verweilen.
Lovely
Really lovely campsite, right on the water. Clean toilets and hot showers. We will absolutely return again.
Great campground! Very spacious spots, good facilities with hot showers. The beach and the mangrove are close so it's a nice environment and convenient to explore the Royal National Park. You can choose your spot when you book online. Be careful to leave at the time of the check out, sometimes they close the doors and your code is expire if you leave late
Has opened. We decided to sleep here because we were traveling in the national park for a long time. A very nice campsite, quiet and relaxed. There are hot showers and toilets that require a code. You will receive this via email after booking.
