A lady recommended us this place. But it was not at all as she described. We paid for a powered tent site because there was not unpowered available. The site didn’t have any shade which we were unlucky because there are plenty of trees. We needed to do plenty of laundry and most of the washing machines were out of order and for only cold wash. Some of the lines to hang the clothes were broken. The amenities and the infrastructure were old. We are not fussy at all and we understand that is peak season but we would like at least a minimum standard for what we are paying for. The staff was quite helpful though
Paid for unpowered and we were really happy with the place. Shade, good bathrooms, pool, kitchen, grass sites. We would definitely stay again
Beautiful camp ground :).A good price ?. We are very happy and stayed there for one week. We would definitely come back again! Friendly stuff and a good spirit! Cheers Travelboho
Lovely camp site, had to stay in Darwin for a while as I was waiting on mail. Based ourselves here. the fee a night for unpowered is fair. Good facilities, grassy sites, enough space. Overall a pleasant stay. Only downfall is someone decided to steal my cheap electric razor while on charge in the bathroom! Unfortunately staff couldn’t do anything as no cameras anywhere. So I’d suggest having one outside bathrooms Incase it happens to others.
This place is awesome! Lovely shady spots for powered sites. 3 pools and a great Bar area around the biggest pool. Food and Bar were lovely! Staff so helpful too! Highly recommend staying here when in Darwin!
Paid for unpowered a night, we ended up staying 3 as it's the cheapest we found in Darwin! Good toilets/showers and even though the campsite is huge there's tons of amenities blocks around. We had a nice green grassed shady spot also!
Stayed 7 nights. Great location for basing yourselves to see Darwin and beyond. Our powered site was down the back next to a pool and amenities block which was perfect - except the washing machine was out of order! Facilities quite tired and a cleaners nightmare with dirty feet - no entry mats. Park was grassed and there was no shortage of water, but at 5am each day there was a constant flow of traffic on the Stuart Highway which woke us!! Apart from that it was a well priced park compared to others. Watch the greasy fish and chip special on a Friday night at the restaurant!!!
Nice place started with 1 night and stayed 2 weeks at powered no slab. Good meals at tavern. 3 swimming pools toilets and camp kitchen very clean
Pretty good price for powered site for a family. Busy park with lots of campers. Nice vibe everyone friendly. Facilities a bit tired I thought needs a bit of TLC
They don't have much unpowered sites so we had to take a powered site.
