Excellent location straight on the beachfront with very hospitable management staff. Access to the site is a bit hidden from Jeffrey Rd, away from the main road. Very popular with families, wooden “beach villas” houses for rent, nice shady lawn next to the beach and also sites for tent-only campers. Small shopping center within 10 min walk on the main junction, the famous bakery is shut down, no longer in operation. Nice place for swimming and long beach walks, great place to be.

They don’t allow you to park a boat on your sight! They say that’s just the rules and their is not enough room, even though a boat is smaller than a caravan?

Very well maintained campsite right on the beach. Sanitary facilities modern and clean. The kitchen only contains the bare essentials but you can overlook that. The place is definitely recommended!

Very nice place right on the beautiful sandy beach with lifeguards until 5 p.m. You can swim very nicely in the water. The square consists of an old part and a new part. We were in the old part on the edge with lots of shade and enjoyed it at the end of February 2024. The newer places have little shade. The sanitary facilities were very clean, but the kitchen in the old part needed to be renewed a bit and so did the appliances. Next to the square was a nice cocktail bar, highly recommended 🌞🌴

Large grounds with direct access to beach and on-site cafe open for Brekky and lunch everyday. There’s an ‘old site’ and ‘new site’. You’ll hear people complain that the new site is too cramped and far-away - our spot in the new site was maybe a 50m walk away from the beach access so can’t complain. Would stay again.

Hands down one of my fav spots, the amenities were clean, staff were super friendly, just a quick 30 second walk and you are on the beach. Definitely would recommend and spacious between powered camp sites.

Absolutely loved this site. I wish we had booked longer but book up. Dog friendly and beach off leash. Would definitely go back, shops near by.
