One of the best real outback experince camping sites. Jonney cakes & billy tea complimentary breaking, great way to get to meet & greet. Freshly baked bread made to order. Large sites to accommodate. Thermal pools & Ideal location for Mataranka shops only short drive away. Highly recommended. We loved our stay. Thank you Des.

Bestest of Campgrounds, this is one of the best campgrounds in Australia! The animals, the food, the playground and just everything here is amazing!

$ ohne Strom ist toll aber es ist alles altmodisch und auf dem Hof könnte mal aufgeräumt werden. Es gibt 2 Duschen und auf der Toilette sind Spinnenweben. Es gibt keine Küche, aber dafür kann man sich etwas zu Essen kaufen. Auf dem Platz wo wir standen, waren viele Ameisen. Haben es leider zu spät gesehen. Jetzt sind alle im Auto. Viele laute Kinder und die Tiere sind eingesperrt.

Stayed her for a night- unpowered in our van. Good sites and staff are so helpful and greeting. Cook ups were fantastic of the evening and also the morning. Would recommend to anyone.

Thanks so much for all the effort directed at the kids, Telka and Des. They don’t have to provide the things they do. Cheap site in such a sought after location. Sugar glider feeding, snakes, blue tongues and croc to hold! Brahman to feed and water buffalo to admire. Hay bales to play on, bulk kids to mingle with, and meals prepared by Des n Telka to enjoy altogether at a long camp fire dining table. Free billy tea each morn and little Johnny cakes to purchase for breaky. The other CP’s in Mataranka are just that. But this is a memorable experience, let alone your visit to the springs. Sites are spacious.

Nice enough camp site with lots of shade. However there’s only one male and one female shower meaning you have to queue! Also only two toilets.

Awesome place to stay! We stayed one night and would have loved to stay more. The owners are super friendly and we felt welcome as soon as we stepped out of the car. You can find all sorts of animals on the property. The feeding of the sugar gliders was our highlight. In the morning we had a nice breakfast near the campfire. You can have Johnny Cakes (1$ each) and tea. It felt very personal and we loved talking to everybody. The facilities are clean, the water is good. What else do you want? :)

Best place to stay near the thermal pools!! Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. He let us drive around and pick our perfect private shady spot for our tent. Beautiful stone outdoor toilet/shower. So many animals on the property to interact with, very cool. They also make fresh bread made to order every morning! Nikki ?? & Pike ???????

Awesome little stock camp and van park ?. Only stayed one night but could've stayed longer. Very welcoming hosts, many activities for kids, they also do long table dinners and breakfasts! South Africans will appreciate the vetkoek for breakfast ?.
