Nice and surprisingly quiet location given it's excellent logistical connection to both - Stuart and Lasseter Hwy with Uluru. Very spacious and clean facilities for toilets, showers and laundry. Unfortunately, tapwater is not drinkable (borewater) - but that's very clearly signposted everywhere. Even before you enter the premises. Spacious sites, hanfy electrical barbecue for guest's use, draft beer in the tavern, very well stocked shop + lots of entertainment with their emu and camel.
Beautiful campsite with a pool and animals – emus and camels. We stayed one night with electricity; it was very quiet, the washrooms were clean, and Wi-Fi was available. We'd gladly return.
A great campsite, we especially liked the rest stop with really good food in the outback 👍👍👍 The atmosphere was really great with a beautiful sunset and clean sanitary facilities.
Kids stay for free, which made our stay amazingly affordable for our family of five! We loved the playground with Zipline, swings and slide. And we enjoyed being able to feed the Emus and the Camel. Wifi worked well everywhere. Bring plenty of drinking water, since their tap water is not drinkable, which is understandable as remote as they are. We will come back.
This place is about 3h from Uluru and 2h from Alice Springs and therefore a fairly good location for us to stop. We stayed one night at a unpowered site for $35. Good toilet and shower. But kitchen is basically not much provided for cooking, no cooktop no pans only a microwave and kettle. There is one emul and Camel inside the campsite.
DO NOT GO HERE There are no signs in the bathroom or at any taps that the water is not potable. We didn’t drink it but brushed our teeth and it made us sick!! When I asked the staff the day after why there weren’t any signs or nobody warned us when checking in, the girl was very agressive and rude! Lot of noise as well, car alarms going off, generators running,…
Large caravan park. Not much grass so can be dusty. There are trees for shade. Large clean amenities block and coin laundry. There is a service station and tavern attached. There are emus and a camel and a nice sunset lookout.
Recommend 8/10 Clean modern facilities Expensive fuel :(
Beautiful roadhouse! There are emus! A good shop, lots of food options and drinks. Information on the surrounding landscape.
You can feed to Emu! Buy the feed $2 from reception.
