What a great place to stay! Large spots, both powered and unpowered, clean toilets an douche's. Really peaceful surroundings! A lot of wallaby’s jumping around!

Very beautiful site, with large, shady trees. Very clean showers and toilets. Suitable for large vehicles and trailers. Kangaroos come to visit in the evenings and mornings. Very friendly operators.

This is open great place to stay. Close to darwin and great to stop as a base to explore all those places. There's roos and other wild life, can have fire pit,great to walk along creek, I even caught a barra.

Amazing place to stay $20 unpowered site. Sid is such a nice and welcoming guy. Loads of space some even have cover which is great for a top tent in wet season. Place is really clean and he even has cabins to book. Best site I've stayed at. Great location.

Definitely reopened now. Plenty of space - powered with water for $35/night and $20 for unpowered. Clean showers and toilets, laundry and dump point. There is also a tank of purified water available if you run short on drinking water. Easy access to the creek which apparently has fish and yabbies. There are plenty of shady trees and grass for relaxing with a cold drink while watching the wildlife.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. I can't say enough great things about this campground. The owner Peter and the Captain Murph are absolutely awesome, welcoming, genuine and so friendly. Their hospitality, laugh and positive energy sucks you straight in. We were planning to stay only 1 night and ended up staying 3. By far the most favourite stay during our travels in Australia. Large and spacious property, not too busy during our stay, but apparently they were full a couple of weeks ago. Clean toilets and showers.

Had a fantastic stay in coomalie. $20 for two people for an unpowered site. Dealt with Murph got a really warm welcome was so kind to us. There was a lovely free show of music and a magician on the Thursday afternoon and a sausage sizzler afterwards.. All for free !! Couldn't recommend this place enough :)
