We had no problems driving there with our 2WD campervan. The access road is unpaved and the many small stones provide good traction. The hiking trail to the gorge is easy. Sure footing is important because of the many rocks. Fantastic rock formations and the lake offer a refreshing dip on hot days.

Didn't do the longer walk as it was too hot, but there also is a very short walk up the hill to a lookout point where you can see the surrounding mountains.
