Stayed a week at Samford Showgrounds and really enjoyed it. The grounds are clean, quiet, and well maintained, with easy access to the village. Facilities are excellent, and Jude, the caretaker, is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.. Unfortunately the phone number is not correct. Correct contact information can be found on WikiCamps or Google Maps
Stayed for 1 night, it was a nice spot. Staff were super friendly and the site is pretty quiet for the size of it. The toilets and shower were clean and there is a basic camp kitchen which was no issue for us (no toaster). It did rain unfortunately so as it’s essentially a field it got a bit muddy. Very good for the price! Only 10 dollars per person per night
Great place. 2 friendly backpackers at check in. Drinking water available. Beautiful place.
Really good camping ground. Powered/unpowered, lots of space, hot showers, toilets, laundry Nice, kind and relaxed owner. Recommendable
Very friendly and comfortable. All water is now town water, ie drinkable. Excellent Cafe on weekends, fresh scones daily. Very safe and secure.
Peaceful open space at the foot of the mountains with basic clean facilities. A great surprise to find the Grounds-cafe open Saturday and Sunday morning for breakfast. Great food, well priced and community spirit. BEST SCONES EVER!! Thanks Samford Showgrounds.
Sehr nett gelegen, mit Musik da eine Hochzeit statt fand. 😊
Nice place near the park of argilar with all the amenities for a great price and close to a small town.
No camping from the 20th of december till 12th of january
Lovely place to stay - very peaceful in a valley surrounded by mountains. Very basic camp kitchen - only sink and microwave (no toaster or kettle) and no potable water. Nice hot showers
