Comment based on a Campervan, two middle-aged adults, no children. Pre-booked and pre-paid. 4* out of 5 Quick, easy check-in. Staff friendly. Well located, immediately on beach, close to local shops. Next door to Turtle Info Centre (not a sanctuary, no rescued turtles there) Pitch large but no concrete slabs. Wi-Fi good. Clearly a lot of initial investment, new site BUT not amenities not large enough for size of camp and not cleaned regularly enough (dust and muddy feet constantly on floor).

The best campsite on our 5-week trip on the east coast. Very new and clean. Cleaned every day. Super large pool with shaded areas. Once a week there is a free BBQ in the camp kitchen. Food trucks also offer other options for getting food if you don't want to cook yourself. The kitchen is very clean and well equipped. There's even an induction stove.

This site has it all and it's brand new. Well laid out with electric and non-electric pitches, some right next to the beach. There is a magnificently stocked camp kitchen, an outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, top notch laundry room and drying area and wonderful shower and toilet areas. And to top it off you have a beautiful beach and the nearby Turtle Centre. Obviously all this doesn't come cheap, a beachside campervan pitch with electric cost $81 but I believe there are cheaper alternatives

This place is awesome. Old but clean amenities, very friendly staff. Yes, they are closing at the end of September for 12 months while the park is fully upgraded. In the meantime, it is very quiet compared to the nearby parks. Only consideration is bringing your own water as only non potable here. We paid $40/night for a powered site.

After an email, we were given the opportunity to camp for one night even if we weren't a group. Location right by the sea. Without a tour it wasn't possible for us to see the turtles because the beach is closed.
