Very nice and pretty campsite, very quiet in August. Toilets were clean. Make sure to bring bug spray, lots of mosquitoes.
Clean toilet, BBQ with gas, fireplace. Don't need 4wd to get there. Nice spot but quite noisy because all the 4wd stoped near by to using the air compressor.
Good campsite. Toilet quite clean. There is a barbecue and picnic table. Only downside, we came on a Saturday night and young people come here to heat the engine of their car which causes a lot of noise.
Very nice campstay in the middle of the byfield state forest. We went there after trying to get to upper stoney creek campstay. There are 11 individual campsites, each of them having a fireplace - if you don’t want to collect dry wood in the forest bring your own wood which is much easier! the facilities are basic but very clean. We enjoyed the bbq and being that close to nature but don‘t forget your bug spray since there are many mosquitoes.
Beautiful spot! Sheltered in the trees, huge spaces, quiet and private. It's advised not to swim in the creek, but take a short drive to stony creek and it's a great day out there!
Great spot, hidden away from the busier stoney creek and close enough to drive there for the day. Water, toilets, fire pits
