Quite a nice peaceful area. Didn’t see the ranger in the four days we were there. Gets busy on the weekend but only a few other people there during the week. A few mozzies and flies about but not the worst we’ve seen!

Beautiful peaceful spot. Bring mozzie spray though. Lots of wood to be found for in the fire pits.

Beautiful camp ground, only 30 minutes drive from Yeppoon. This is a "quiet park" i.e. Campers must keep noise levels to a minimum; dogs are allowed but must be on leash at all times. Camp fires are allowed, with fire pits on all camp sites but must bring own milled timber. Campers cannot take timber from surrounds. All camp sites also have a pinic table. Toilet block has recently been upgraded, very clean.
