What a great deal! We booked an unpowered site for around $19/person. They've got a pool, kitchen with plenty of pots & pans (even a blender), fridges, a huge common area with lots of tables, and nice bathrooms. Washing is only $4, can't recall how much the dryer was but they've got drying racks as well. If you're on a budget and looking at options in the area, they mentioned that the Windmill park has similar prices.
Booked an unpowered site, very nice. Washed my clothes and cooked some food in the kitchen. Good facilities and clean. WiFi is available only in the community room.
Called to book and then rang again before to ask if the kitchen was fully equipped before doing a food shop. On arrival we found the fridges all unplugged and were filthy! The entire block with facilities smelt awful due to all the flooding, damp mattresses all around the park. This campsite should not be open to the public until it’s been sorted. Very disappointed. Also keep in mind an extra $20 deposit has to be paid for the key to access the facilities which is returned the following day.
Cheap and close to a beach and the pier where they pick you up for excursions to Kgari Island. Large place with grass, clean bathrooms although it smells like a peacock. A little far from the center of town (30 min walk).
Cheap but reception always closed. Never answer to the phone.
Beautiful spot! Lovely and quiet. Awesome bird life, great pool, clean showers, kitchen great (burners need some TLC). Overall awesome!
Nice campsite , lots of peacocks and ducks wondering around . We only stayed one night powered site - a little pricey , but good nonetheless- amenities clean and good for what you need - WiFi only at reception .
Great place to stay! Paid for unpowered site. Absolutely amazing food at the bistro (only open weekends currently) and such good value for both food and drinks! Great kitchen to use when bistro is closed - eight gas burners - plus hot showers and clean bathrooms. Reception and bar staff both lovely. Beautiful grounds too, but beware that the peacocks are loud. You get used to it though! Fab location for everything. Highly recommend!
A little dated but very clean and quiet. Presence of ducks, peacocks and other poultry which do not disturb. The sea accessible on foot as well as the port for whale watching boat trips.
$ per night for 2 people without electricity. Very nice campsite, the kitchen is well-equipped.
