Don’t know if that’s true but apparently they are taking pictures of camper vans on the parking lot next to the campground and reporting them to officials so they get fined. At least that’s what the local told me after he accused me of illegally staying the night even though I didn’t.
Absolutely overrated. Not a nice stretch of beach, completely overcrowded, and way too expensive. There are much nicer ones.
Definitely not worth the price! One of the most expensive sites we’ve stayed at while travelling the east coast and definitely the worst! Toilets and showers are average, relatively clean but definitely not sparkling. Camp kitchen is unusable, a biohazard at that. Sites are just gravel or grass, no slabs so the van is filthy. All you’re paying for in this site is the location which is nice.
It was a good campsite. Check-in was super easy. Friendly staff. Showers and toilets were really good and clean.
Arrived late in the evening end of October. Campground was very accommodating and made check in easy. Sunset was amazing from the beachfront. Would recommend booking in advance for beachfront site. Restaurant on site for fish and chips was delicious. Peaceful camp ground.
This charming campground is perfect for families and young adults, featuring well-maintained facilities and a stunning beach area. The local café gets quite lively in the evenings, often hosting live music. We arrived after hours, but the check-in process was quick and seamless.
The spot to be!!!! Right on the water, perfect swimming & at low tide great walks around the coast.
Very nice camping, right by the sea. Perfect swimming. Clean amenities. We thought it was cosy and friendly. Friendly and helpful staff, friendly neighbours. Walking distance to the marina. We will definitely come back!
Extremely crowded camp site. We got here and we’re given a slither of what was supposed to be a whole beachfront site with two trees front and back. We had people either side and we had the thinnest camp site ever because they’re all squeezed in. Facilities basic and only one block for the whole site. People were all over our campsite. We had a campervan with the back door open to see the water (and the view we paid extra for), and people were just walking in the way and around our campsite with no respect for our site or privacy. It felt so looked on and uncomfortable. Very expensive for what it is. Also kids everywhere.. Do Aussie parents not care about their kids being in school or something??
Stunning location on the beach but pitches are very small and packed in. Facilities are a little tired , the ladies showers were not designed for anyone over 160cm and the camp kitchen wasn't the cheapest we have come across on our travels Glad we stayed here because the location is so good
