Virginia is the host of this little paradise. She's a lovely person and she has been really kind with us. She accepted our stay at late night after a call but we suggest you to book in the morning to don't miss this opportunity. We spent 1 night in an unpowered site. The campground has toilets and kitchen. Everything works perfectly and very clean. Mt Nimmel Lodge Campground is a healing place in the nature. No pollution, sounds of nature and animals create an amazing vibe. Thank you Virginia :)

Had a really good experience here despite the comments below. Woman met us on arrival. She also drafted up a load of activities and places to visit in the local area. Recommended lots of lookouts, walks and water pools to go swimming. Let me and my girlfriend pet her dogs also. Also told us there was no real rush to leave site so was not strict on checkout either. Free washing on site also. Highly recommend for 1 or 2 night to see springbok mountains

We stayed there just recently. Worst place on the Gold Coast. It’s like they are running this camp ground at the house. It’s treated badly. No active onsite cleaner. The place is dirty. It’s a place for drug addicts not family’s.

Not near anything ,bad road to get there no signage on site ,no guidanceon arrival and hen booking they seem friendly then after (cash only )is received not so much ,no level area to put tents not permitted on grass areas only on gravel areas drunk men pass by wearing wife beater singlets telling you they are caretakers and start yelling and swearing at your children and telling you that asians and Victorians are idiots, a bit expensive for what it is. and watch out for the fire ants .

we paid 60$ for 3 peiple, kitchen was nice and clean, bathrooms were okay, there were little weird people around, for one night okay

Website says 35$ for 2 but it’s actually 30$ each person. Paid 60$ for a unpowered campsite that was just a gravel parking lot basically. I have stayed at better free campsites. Does have a kitchen but does not have an pots/pans/utensils if you want to cook you must bring your own. Does have shower (3 min limit), laundry and bathroom. Owners weren’t that friendly. Didn’t even come out of their home to speak to us, talked to us from over a fence.

Les prix ne sont pas à jour. C’est 50$ pour un unpowered site pour deux personnes et 60$ pour un powered site pour deux personnes. L’hôte n’est pas agréable, nous avons passé notre chemin.

One of the only camping spots close to the Springbrook National Park. A bit expensive for what you get. No reception/service, no wifi. Showers/toilets are clean but old, bad water pressure. The kitchen has everything you need but old as well. In the weekend it gets very noisy because of the children who live at the camping ground.

The owners are nice but the place is a bit overpriced for what you get. De kitchen is clean however the refrigerator is stuffed with food that is due. The big stove doesn't work and the other stoves are dirty. The shower and toilets are somewhat ok but old.

Charged us per person for unpowered camping on a gravel road. Site was packed with campers and noisy, and there was no parking under trees for shade in the morning. The facilities was clean but there is a hornet’s nest in the bathroom and lots of spiders. And they have a policy of “3 minutes shower”.
