We stayed very spontaneously one night on this farm and was allowed to take a small tour with the animals in the morning.Josie was very friendly, I can only recommend.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at this campsite. We stayed on an unpowered site in our campervan and Josie was very kind to squeeze us in last minute. The shower, toilets and washer were all clean. There’s a camp kitchen with stove burner, sink and a bench to eat at. The animals are all super well cared for and Josie was happy to tell us about them and we had time to explore the paddocks at our leisure. We even got a little Easter egg on our camp chair in the morning and hot cross buns!
Absolutely Awesome Place to stay Highly recommended!! Staff are all so lovely and friendly All animals are well cared for Definitely 100% worth the stay
I have been to Jarravale on many occasions and there are no “wild animals” in cages. All animals are free range with the exception of some birds which have been bred for the cage and spent all their lives in cages before being given up by their previous owners for numerous reasons. Most of those bird are often out of their cages on a daily basis. It’s a pity people don’t enquire before they criticise.
Reply to last post . Manny of birds are rescue birds and have lived with people for 30 to 40 years in smaller changes than ours . There owners have passed on. Cockatoo live to be over 80 years of age . If set free they would starve. I guess you would prefer to see them put down. Instead of living in clean cages with plenty of food and clear water. Go figure.
Give this one a miss. It's sad to see all those wild animals (besides the farm ones) in such small cages, especially the poor distressed birds. While the amenities are ok, the lady was not very friendly and they charge as if they were a proper campground.
Brilliant campsite! Probably the quietest night we’ve had yet, so slept like babies. It’s set away from the farm too, so really private. Great sheltered cooking area with two gas hobs and a bench to eat at. Shower and toilet indoor ones, so no bugs which is great. Also spotless, with bath mats! Josie and Shirley were lovely, and let us see and feed all the animals. There’s currently baby pigs, alpacas, goats and chooks there! Highly recommend!
A great spot .. Highly recommended
Absolutely amazing place. Josie was amazing. She was really lovely. She let us saunter around the farm and showed us the animals. She gave us some carrots to feed them all. And gave us some free bananas (for us!). Great facilities - clean and tidy. We were the only people on the site.
Very nice stay! We really enjoyed the park with animals. Staff very friendly
