National park site. Pretty dusty site. OK for an over nighter. The Homested is pretty cool and worth checking out
The National Park probably best done as a day trip as there no compelling reason to overnight. Free Camp Mistake Creek or behind the pub were more desirable. Do take the National Park driving loop though. Many native animals.
Beautiful place, so peaceful and chilled out. Lots of lizards, kangaroos and wallaroos. No sign of the Dunnarts apart from a few tracks. 1 toilet great condition. Sites are spaced out and some have fire pits and little low wood stump seats. Some Telstra signal here and there - enough to receive emails and messages. Road in crosses a river that was dried up but could potentially not get across if crazy wet. Other road goes out the top of the park and no crossing, not sure on condition!
Great spot. Shade, toilet, fire pits and very quiet.
Looks like a lovely spot to stay a night or two. Drop toilet was clean, the area is a bit dry though.
Dusty but good. There is a drought. The area was quite. The drop toilet was clean. It was abit windy so not as many birds to see. Kangaroos did come and say hello. We went to look at the homestead which is worth it.
Lovely camp. Single drop toilet. Quiet night and stunning night sky. Virtually no phone/internet once you enter the camp! purchase your e-permit on QLD National Parks website
