Lovely town, showground camping is some sites you need levelers. I was near amenities and didn't have any and when standing in van I felt I was going to fall over! So don't forget your levelers. The care takers are lovely, a little camp kitchen, and huge old wooden door showers. Very clean. A walk into town to pub and bakery takes about 4 mins or more. Park pretty full and sites very close to each other. Seems the fuel prices are not worrying Qlders, so they are still holidaying in winter.
Stayed 2 nights and it was very pleasant. Showers are huge! I asked for late checkout as I had a last minute appointment in town and it was no problem, very friendly. Great price at $13 a night for 1 person and 2 dogs with power and water.
Absolutely fabulous showground. Most colourful and practical toilets have come across. Lovely caretakers. On the rail trails so great. Great pub 400 yards down the road. Wednesday is $10 high Tea at CWA. Cute town. Must stay location.
05-03-2024 Great Zoner. Blackbutt Showgrounds has plenty of easy access sites, even for the biggest outfits. Clean large showers & toilets. Powered site with Water is $25.00 per night for 2. Walking distance into town and the famous Blackbutt Bakery and a large variety of shops. Plenty of history to explore within walking distance of the Showgrounds. On-site Caretaker is very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay. Friendly Caretaker on site, dump point just outside the gate, firewood available, dog friendly. Grounds are nicely kept.
Caretaker on site. Paid for 2 adults in a caravan with power and water. Clean amenities, walking distance to town and the museum with lots of history (gold coin donation).
