Amazing place, stayed 2 nights with our campervan unp site 45$/night. Great facilities, great food at the tea house and alot of walking tracks with beautiful nature. (Be aware of leeches)
Great place in the rainforest and at the beginning of all tracks. Staff is super helpfull and friendly. The powered site was large enough for our campervan of 7m and everything was clean. Payed 35aud which is fair - compared to some other campaites. Road up there was very doable.
Campsites for tents and vans/caravans are tiniy. 5 sites are located directly opposite the back of the café in the car park and the others are so close together that you will literally rub shoulders with the person next to you. A lot of noise all the time with generators/fans/cars coming & going. It’s a shame because it’s the only way to access the incredible hikes up here. Showers/bathrooms and other facilities were great though.
We paid $30 per night for 2 p. without power. Toilets and showers old and only lukewarm. Everyone makes fires with wet wood, it smokes terribly. Walks very well and beautifully.
Well maintained campground directly near the start of all major walking tracks in the Lamington National Park. Tent sites however are not grassed but have a gravel surface.
We payed $30 unpowered for a 2 people. Positive: They over some nice tracks with guides. Unfortunately we were not informed about that at the reception. We only got the info when we asked about it. Some nice walks start here to the national park. The toilets and showers are ok. Negative: We had a pretty small site. The BBQs were pretty dirty. The public BBQs besides the camp are even cleaner! There were quite a lot of people who made a fire so there was a lot of smoke. If you don’t mind it’s ok.
Beautifully located campsite in the middle of the forest! Toilets and showers are not new, but completely ok! Fireplaces for every place available - firewood $ 20 for 20kg - best to buy cheaper before ;-)
This is a joke! $30 for an unpowered site that looks more like a shithole. Kitchen is virtually non-existent, you pay extra for gas and firewood. Toilets and showers outdated. So next time it's better to take a day trip and move on quickly!! Definitely not worth the money!!!
Really expensive for what you get. We paid 30$ for an unpowered campsite and just a hot shower because you have to pay for everything else like the kitchen equipment, laundry etc. Some free camps are better equipmented
A Must Be Place! So wonderful in a National Park. Friendly staff. Necessary to make a reservation because there are only a few sites for campervans or motorhomes. Great walks. Beautiful view in the valley to the Gold Coast. Good amenities, hot water, clean. No dump station. We paid 35€ for a powered site!
