Just don't get there on a weekend!! It is a wonderful spot, scenery is great, campkitchen is very good and there are lots of walks to do. Unfortunately there is no campground manager or someone who looks after everything all the time. On weekends it is packed, a lot of traffic is happening, seems there are even more cars than people, parking everywhere. People feed wildlife, leave the kitchen and amenities messy, are loud late and no-one seems to care. It's nice & peaceful place on weekdays!
O’Reilly’s. Immaculate facilities, nice view from the top of the plateau where our powered campervan spot was.
It is called O‘Reilly‘s now. For 40$ a night/2p it was good. Remember, it is far away from everything and it has a warm shower. 3G with Vodafone and 4G with Telstra. Wifi at the restaurant.
Now called O'Reilly's, seems a bit steep for what you get
Peaceful place with gorgeous view and nice fully enclosed camp kitchen. Hot showers lacked water pressure but otherwise good. Expensive for what it was but worth it for the amazing walks in the area.
Campground is open ? and looks fantastic. But prices are different
Still closed. Any places to sleep... There is a road only accessible with 4x4 not so far to the parking, with lucky you can find a little place to sleep in your 4wd
The Campground is still closed.
