Stayed two nights here and had a very positive experience. Quiet location but walking distance to the marina and dolphin feeding area. Site has good facilities. Recommended
14-05-25 ZN459 Spent 2 nights, level flat grassed sites with and without slabs, new clean ammenities, great showers. Friendly staff $50 pn for 2 adults with power & water. Walking distance to Dolphin Feeding, IGA shops. Nice Council supplied picnic tables overlooking the Great Sandy Straits spread around multiple locations. Highly recommend for a overnight stay or a week or two.
Staff were friendly, toilets & showers were clean. However, $50 for a powered site seems overpriced for what you are getting. Disappointed with the kitchen, due to the fact that the electric stove stop kept turning off whilst cooking, no hot water in the kitchen to properly clean our dishes… tried to use the kettle to boil some water for the sink and the kettle didn’t work and could not reach another power socket to try get it to work.
Friendly place, very clean ensuite , close enough to town, would stay again
Paid for an unpowered site, because it’s holidays but it’s not said anywhere it’s that price. Clean shower but no pressure And no code for the wifi
Nice campsite. Clean amenities. Not to much to do in the environment but good for one night!
Water to full up caravan available. Kitchen with 1 stove (4 burners), fridge, large cooking table, plenty of tables and room to do the dishes. Really clean and fresh toilets and showers with unlimited hot water. Soap and toilet papper in toilet. 3 toilets and 3 showers for women. The reception closes around 18.00 (I think), but there is a number you can call, or just ring the door bell and the owners will show up soon. (we only had to wait for a few minutes).
The place is clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are top. The location is great for the water. What we found very good is that they have a ton extra for the deposit. This will be collected and donated. Good idea since we don't feel like collecting our deposit. There should be more of that.
Absolutely an amazing place!!! Only 4 years old and not so big but really lovely and nice. Amenities are really clean (best showerfacilities I have seen in QLD) and the owner is such a nice lady! She will show you around and give you all the tips and tricks you need. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Great campsite. Calm. Practical kitchen area and tables available. Very clean showers and toilets. Ideal for going to see the dolphins feeding at 7 a.m. at the port (10 min walk).
