Contrary to previous reviews, I can confirm that the campsite is open. It's located to the left of the day-use area, downstream, and practically impossible to miss. It's a very nice and well-maintained campsite with several pitches for campervans and tents. Unfortunately, there are a lot of mosquitoes, and—this is the biggest drawback—the showers and toilets are extremely dirty. Anyone with a fear of spiders should definitely stay away. Despite this, I would still come back.

Great place to stay Quiet, not busy Cold showers

What a great spot! Amazing place to camp the night before doing the long walk to the beautiful waterfall (it took us 6 hours - be prepared, take water - we filled it up at the third creek which had clean free flowing water). There is also a beautiful walk to the flowing creek and lovely small walk spots to the nearer creek. There are great picnic tables, clean toilets, cold showers (amazing after the walks), and bbq facilities. There are around ten spots but people tend to park where there is space as it is difficult to see numbered spots. You can sit among the cute wallabies and watch some of the wildlife among the spots. Well worth it if you like nature, some peace and quiet and clean facilities for a reasonable price! Make sure to print screen or write down your camping number as there is no internet service close to the park (around ten minutes out).

Great camp ground. Must be booked through QPWS website though. It is open and back in business.
